I want to say my experience with outpatient Radiology was awesome. The registration went smoothly. The person that done my test today ( Vicki) really was on top of her game.! She was friendly and knowledgeable. I knew I was in good hands. She was very informative and gave me information about their patient portal which was very helpful as well.I highly recommend UT outpatient for your testing needs!

I was admitted to UT Medical Center for SI on August 5th of 2026. I wonβt go into detail as to why but what I will say is that the way UT Medical Staff handles their psychiatric patients is pathetic. Not only do you get the βspecialβ treatment that is a βgreen roomβ you also get matching colored uniforms to go with it! Yay! Iβm being sarcastic if you couldnβt tell. I got a brief screening to tell them what was going on and then I got sent to the βgreen roomβ. And while yes, it is within reason to protect the asset that is the patient from harming themselves I will not forgive or discern the fact that the doctor that was in charge of sending me off to a different facility, did so without informing me of where I was even going. He gave me a name, but no further explanation as to how the facility would benefit in my care, needless to say I am out of that facility now and I am quite pissed so you can say. The doctor was βabout to tell meβ that I was going to the facility but was just informed β20 minutes agoβ prior to EMS arrival to transfer me there. The facility in question was East Tennessee Behavioral Health. Oh but they have a really good outpatient care team right?! Oh sure if yo

I recently hit the 10-year mark with my kidney transplant and have officially been released from the care of the University of Tennessee Medical Center Kidney Transplant Team. Moving forward, I'll continue my follow-up care with my nephrologist, but I wanted to take a moment to thank the entire transplant team for everything they've done over the years. From day one, everyone was amazing. They took the time to explain everything to my husband and me, from what would happen during surgery to what recovery and long-term aftercare would look like. Having that information and support made a scary situation much easier to navigate. Over the last 10 years, every interaction I've had with the team has been positive. The doctors, nurses, coordinators, and staff have always been kind, caring, and genuinely invested in my well-being. They never treated me like just another patient. Reaching this milestone is something I'm incredibly thankful for, and I know I wouldn't be here without the excellent care I received. While it's a little bittersweet to be discharged from their care after all these years, I'm grateful for everything they've done for me. Thank you to the entire transplant team

I had to have my appendix removed in January 2026. They have this huge expansion and apparently itβs a donation from the Haslam family to βhave shorter wait timesβ but this is simply a bigger holding facility. I had appendicitis and I was clearly showing symptoms and I had to wait from 6 PM to 2:30 AM to have a CT scan to confirm this was the case. I was informed they only had one CT scan machine working of the 3 they have. There is zero reason, at any time, that a level 1 trauma center should have only 3 CT scans let alone ONE working one. I waited 8.5 hours while they pumped me full of pain meds to be able to tolerate the wait to have a CT scan. I was sick. I was in pain. I waited 8.5 hours. Granted, they had gunshot wounds to the head coming in and falls that absolutely took precedent over me, but if there had been more CT machines this wouldnβt have happened. I gave 3 stars, though, because my level of care from these nurses and doctors and surgeons was incredible. I am so pleased with the staff there and how I was treated with the impossible circumstances they were given by the owners of this hospital. I hope this review helps make a changeβ¦ I doubt it will but I hope it could
